What Synchron Does

Synchron is the modern hub for legendary Swiss dive-watch brands. We design and manufacture the current Synchron lineup, and we have brought iconic names like Aquastar, Aquadive, ISOfrane, and Tropic back to market — built to original specifications, sold direct, and serviced by our own network.

Who We Are

Synchron is a Swiss-led group operating out of Synchron Uhrenmanufaktur GmbH. The name has roots in 1990s Swiss watchmaking, when “Synchron” described a union of independent watch brands that pooled expertise to bring iconic products back to the public after the quartz crisis. We operate in that same spirit today: a small, focused company that exists to keep legendary dive-watch design alive, modernize it where appropriate, and deliver it direct to enthusiasts without a retail middleman.

We are not a marketing brand sitting on top of OEM watches. Our products are engineered by people who own and dive vintage dive watches themselves, manufactured to Swiss horological standards, and supported by a service network that knows every reference we ship.

What We Manufacture and Distribute

Synchron — the modern collection

Our flagship line. Modern Swiss dive watches built on the design DNA of the 1960s and ’70s but engineered with current materials, current movements, and current water-resistance standards. Current and recent models include:

  • Synchron Ti300M Poseidon — titanium-case 300m diver, Swiss LJP G100 movement, limited edition tribute to 1970s dive heritage.
  • Synchron Ti300M SEALAB — limited-edition titanium diver inspired by the SEALAB underwater exploration program.
  • Synchron Poseidon (Ice Diver, Black Edition) — 316L steel 300m dive watches with Swiss movements and Super-LumiNova.
  • Synchron 70’s Military — faithful reissue of the 1970s military-issue dive watch in both stainless and PVD-coated forms.

Revived heritage brands

Synchron has acquired and revived several historic Swiss dive-watch brands that disappeared during or after the quartz crisis. Each one is reissued or maintained to the original specifications wherever possible:

  • Aquastar — founded 1962, one of the original purpose-built dive-watch brands, now under the Synchron umbrella.
  • Aquadive — Swiss-American diver heritage brand, revived with modern movements.
  • ISOfrane® — the genuine Italian rubber dive strap, originally developed in the 1960s. Manufactured today to original specification.
  • Tropic — the iconic 1960s perforated rubber dive strap, reissued in 20mm and 22mm widths.
